OUR HERITAGE

It began with a simple belief that the legacy and resilience of our ancestors deserved to be preserved and carried forward. Over generations, this old Istrian home grew and changed with the family. We have reimagined it as a heritage relais where guests can experience the warmth and spirit of Istria, feel close to nature and enjoy hospitality rooted in tradition. Villa Domenico is our way of keeping that history alive: a genuine home shaped by the land and created for a slower, more meaningful stay.

Restoring and reimagining the house became our way of honouring Domenico’s labour, resilience and care, and carrying his legacy forward.

We spent three years restoring Villa Domenico, carefully preserving as much of its original character as possible. Throughout the house, we used natural materials to keep the interiors authentic while creating comfort and a true sense of home. The work demanded patience, precision and dedication, but we never compromised on our vision: to let guests feel at home while experiencing the authentic spirit of the Istrian land. The Terra Magica.
